Brighten your Rhinebeck History knowledge! Volunteer to help us maintain Rhinebeck’s historical past!
The Museum is always happy to have the community get involved in local history and our efforts to preserve Rhinebeck’s history.
There are several ways you can get involved:
Board Member
Join our board to help with planning events, fundraising, and more. The board meets once per month on Tuesdays.
Museum Docent
The Museum is open Saturdays 1-4pm June-the end of September. Docent duties include opening and closing the Museum, showing visitors the exhibit and Quitman House. Training in the house history and exhibit or provided.
Curation Assistance
Help our curator with a variety of projects including inventories, research, collection maintenance, and more. Training is provided.
Community Service
If you are a high school student seeking community service hours for graduation, we have projects you can do.
